(May 2012, English:) "The Aphasic Nights" is an instrumental piece by Anis that connects rhythms of the West with those of the East. In Greek, aphasia means "without language". In medical terms, aphasia is a loss of speech. "The Aphasic Nights" was composed on guitar in 1999, its length is about ten minutes, and it consists of five parts:
1. The People on the Boat (C minor) 0:00 – 2:20
2. The Lute player (C minor) 2:21 – 3:32
3. Panther's Nightlife (C major) 3:33 – 7:06
4. Alhambra (C) 7:07 – 9:05
5. The People on the Boat (Reprise) 9:06 – 10:00
In 2010, parts 4 and 2 were recorded in variations, as a soundtrack to the German audio play "Die Dichter" (The Poets). The soundtrack comes in 16 half-minute bits that are placed between the poems on the CD. Some of it is in the (German) YouTube trailer of Die Dichter at youtube.com/watch?v=yWsnr4ygcro. (Mai 2012, Deutsch:) „The Aphasic Nights“ ist ein Instrumentalstück von Anis, das die Rhythmen des Westens mit denen des Ostens verbindet. Das griechische „Aphasia“ bedeutet „ohne Sprache“. In der Medizin bezeichnet Aphasie einen Sprachverlust. Die Aphasic Nights wurden 1999 an der Gitarre komponiert. Das Stück dauert ungefähr zehn Minuten und besteht aus fünf Teilen:
1. Die Leute am Boot (C-Moll) 0:00 – 2:20
2. Die Lautenspielerin (C-Moll) 2:21 – 3:32
3. Panthers Nachtleben (C-Dur) 3:33 – 7:06
4. Alhambra (C) 7:07 – 9:05

2010 wurden die Teile 4 und 2 mit Variationen eingespielt, als Soundtrack zum deutschen Hörspiel Die Dichter. Der Soundtrack besteht aus 16 halbminütigen Teilen, die auf der CD zwischen den Gedichten platziert sind.
